can I quit claim and sell my joint ownership to my wife and no longer be on the deed. Would my wife ever be responsible for any lawsuits or people seeking retribution from me? thank you
Hi lcprop!
Welcome to forums!
If you quit claim your property to your wife, then she would become the owner of the property. As you won't remain the owner of the property, your creditors won't be able to come after the property in order to recover their dues.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
