Quitclaim deeds

Posted on: 01st Apr, 2008 02:14 pm
My mother recently passed and willed her home to me and my brother and sister. We have agreed that my brother can have the house and we want to quitclaim it to him. Will my sister and I have to fill out separate quitclaim deed forms to give the house to him?
Thanks
Hi lindamyles,

Welcome to the forum.

I think one quitclaim deed will serve your purpose but it is always better to consult with an attorney and he will help you to make the deed valid.

Best of luck,
Larry

Welcome lindamyles,

One deed should do it for you but take an attorney's advice as larry has also suggested you above.

by the way do not forget to notarized and record the deed to make the deed valid.

Let me know if you have any more queries
