When My sister and I die, we would like the condo that we share to go directly to the other. There is no mortgage on the condo. Can a quit claim do this?
Hi nancybmoore,
You can use a quit claim deed in order to add both your names to the condo. You can share the ownership of the property as "joint tenancy with right to survivorship". Thus, after anyone of you is deceased, the other person will directly become the owner of the property.
Thanks
