Sheriff sale next week. Had two adjournments already.
If I sign a quitclaim deed, how long will that delay the sale?
If the person taking the property, says I can stay, do they have to tell the sheriff or the lawyer for the bank the bank or all three?

Hi solidrockrealestate,
It won't be a good idea to quit claim the property when you're facing a sheriff's sale. Transfer of property just before the sale will be considered as fraudulent and you may be penalized for it.
