i have several siblings who for various reasons do not want to be responsible for porperty of our father estate . can a quit claim deed release them of their responsibility so i can dispose of the property.
Hi bdt,
If your father has left a will, then that needs to be probated first. Once the will is probated and the property is transferred to you, then your siblings will be able to transfer the property to you by signing a quit claim deed.

there is no valid will sibs do not want responsiblity
Hi bdt,
If there is no will, then you can ask your siblings to give you a no objection certificate. Then you can file an affidavit of heirship and transfer the property in your name.
Thanks
