i have a quit claim deed signed over to me for a property i purchased from this person. what do i do with this quit claim deed now to get the property in my name?
Hi Wat,
Since the property has been quitclaimed to you, you are legally the owner of the house and the title to the property is now in your name. However, the quitclaim deed has to be valid, for you to become the legitimate owner of the house. To know more about how to make a quitclaim deed valid you can visit the following link:

If everything was done in accordance with the law of that particular state, you needn't be worried and you needn't change the title to your name.
