we are intrested in refinacing our home i am not on the loan or the deed the individual said a bank will refinace our home but we have to sing a quit claim. i have to sign it as well. i said no is thre any reson to sign a quit claim deed to refinace a home?

If both of you want to add your names to the mortgage, then you'll have to sign a quit claim deed and add your name to the property first and then refinance the loan in your name. Apart from this, there is no other reason to sign a quit claim deed.
