I called the county land record office to find how to add my spouse to my deed and they gave me the option of contacting a lawyer or just purchase a quit clam form. Everything I read about quit claim form is giving up all interest of the grantor to the grantee, I just want to add the grantee to my deed?

Hi POPaSTOP!
Welcome to forums!
While you fill out the quit claim deed form, you will have to mention your name as the grantor of the property. You need to mention your name as well as your spouse's name as the grantee to the property. Thus, both of you would become the owner of the property.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
