if i sign a quitclaim deed over to my husband and he files for divorce, do i have any rights to the...my husband and i own a home together that we purchased afte we got married with our money together. we also own two businesses equally together as well. he wants me to sign a quit claim deed over to him so that if we were to be sued for some reason that our home would be untouchable.

If you quitclaim your share of interest in the property to your husband you will have no right to the property and it is not easy to reverse the quitclaim deed unless he quitclaims it back to you or unless you can prove that you signed it under pressure, which is very difficult to do.
