Quitclaim deed

I have a quitclaim deed given to me by my mother. We have also states we have joint tenancy and she has survivorship. When she dies, does the property automatically becomes mine?
Hi Medora!

Welcome to the forums!

If your name is mentioned on the property deed as joint tenants with right to survivorship, then you will automatically become the sole owner of the property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Hi Medora,

You should show the deed to a real estate attorney and he will help you know whether or not you will become the sole owner of the property after her death.
