Hi, Is there a time limit on the quitclaim deed? I gave one to my sister in law about 17 years ago, she still has not recorded it.
Thanks dave
Thanks dave
Welcome David,
Any deed should be recorded as soon as it is signed by the grantor. A deed becomes valid only when it is recorded at the county recorder's office. As the concerned deed was signed 17 years back but was not recorded, it won't be considered valid any longer.
