Can you use a quit claim deed to deed back a timeshare?

We owe no money on our timeshare, and all fees are current. We have owned it since 2007.

The is a Westgate property in Gatlinburg, TN
You can use a quitclaim deed in order to give back the property to the timeshare company. However, it's not mandatory for the timeshare company to accept it.
