I HAVE A TIMESHARE IN BC THAT HAS BEEN PAID FOR FOR 20+ YRS; WE CAN'T SELL IT, THE COMPANY WON'T TAKE IT BACK. WE LIVE IN WA, AND HAVEN'T USED THE UNIT FOR AT LEAST 10 YEARS. THEY WANT US TO CONTINUE TO PAY MAINTENANCE FEES; I WANT TO QUIT CLAIM.
Hi CHERYL!
Welcome to forums!
Whom do you want to quitclaim the property to? You should have a grantee to quitclaim the property. You have mentioned that the timeshare company is not ready to take it back. Also, I would suggest you to contact your attorney and check out if quitclaim deed is valid in Canada.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
