Can i use a quitclaim deed on my timeshare that is in the BWI Cayman Isalnds. In the magazine Timesharing Today there is an article about wanting out of a timeshare. I own the timeshare and the maint. fee is up to date.
Who would you be quit claiming it to? There may be taxes applicable to the new owner. also, is it fully paid off?
Hi cdimitrijevic!
Welcome to forums!
You can use a quitclaim deed in order to transfer the property to someone else. Once you transfer the property through a quitclaim deed, you'll have to notarize and record the deed at the county recorder's office where the property is located.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
