We have 3 owners on our property in Bayfield, CO. We want too sign it over into my mothers name only. My mother in-law bought the form at a supply store, but it is foreign to me.
Hi robjen,
You need to sign the deed as grantors transferring the property title to your mother who will be referred to as the grantee. I think you should consult a lawyer before filling out the deed. He is the best person to guide you through this entire process of title transfer. It is also advisable to use a deed prepared by your lawyer rather than use a deed bought from supply store. The deed you buy from the store might not fit into your situation. Thus, you should also get the deed reviewed by the lawyer before you sign on it.
