Post Your detailed question here.My parents purchased 6plots at a cementery back in 1993 approx year. Now they are both deceased. 4 of the plots are now occupied we have 2 remaining plots. Nieces and nephews, wanting us remaining siblings of parents to quit clam one plot to there mother, because there dad is bury there. doing a quit claim, does that mean she can claim it as hers, and the other siblings of her late spouse my brother. have no rights. to that plot anymore. we only want her to be bury there. can we have itwritten that she is the only one to be bury in the plot.
Hi bstamayo,
If you sign a quitclaim deed and transfer the property in your aunt's name, then she can claim the property as her own. However, if you want, you can contact an attorney and draft a written agreement specifying that she would be buried in the plot only. However, the agreement would require your signatures as well as your aunt's signatures.
Thanks
