Is it possible to do quitclaim to my son in law even my mortgage is not yet fully paid

My husband and I have a mortgage in which my son in law was also a co-signer but his name doestn't appeal in the bill and the mortgage is not yet fully paid.. Is it possible to do quitlaim to my son in law. This way he will be the one responsible in paying the mortgage.
Hi mbactat,

If your son-in-law is the cosigner for the mortgage, then his name will appear in the mortgage docs. In such a situation, you can quitclaim the property to him and he can refinance the mortgage solely in his name.
