My husband and I want to transfer a deed to a lot, to our daughter in order for her to build her house. Could you tell us what kind of deed transfer to fill out and file.
Hi irettars,
You can use a quitclaim deed in order to transfer the lot to your daughter. Sample quitclaim deed forms are available online but it is always better to contact an attorney and draft the deed from him. Quitclaim deed forms are also available at the county recorder's office.
Once the deed is filled out, you'll have to notarize it and record it at the county recorder's office.
Thanks
