can I use a quitclaim to do this? Is ther a quitclaim form to use in doing this and can it be done by signature only or does it have to be notarized?

i don't believe gravesites are handled as traditional real estate deals. can you check with the cryptkeeper?
or is that just a fictional character?

Hi mwt,
As far as I know, a quitclaim deed can be used to transfer the gravesite property. In order to make the deed valid, it should be notarized and recorded at the county recorder's office. Also, I would suggest you to have a word with your real estate attorney and take his opinion in this regard.
Thanks

Does it make a difference if there is already a body buried there?
nice question eric - would that make it more or less valuable?
oh...i guess that depends on who the grantee would be, then.
