quitclaim deed from individual to two individuals in joint t...hi, i live in fl and i would like to add my sister's name to my townhouse. to add her on title, i would have to do a quit claim deed... but what kind of quit claim deed? by researching i think it has to be the "quitclaim deed from individual to two individuals in joint tenancy" is that right?

also, the property is not homesteaded, can she file for partial homestead as it will be her primary residence?

thank you!
Hi bogie,

Yes, you can use "Quitclaim Deed from Individual to Two Individuals in Joint Tenancy" to add your sister's name in the property deed. As far as homestead is concerned, yes, she may claim a partial homestead as it will be her principle residence.

Thanks.
