My grandmother that is 84 years old signed a quitclaim deed to some property she owned. She signed it over to her children now she is regretting it. Is there any way she can undo this? She feels that at the time of signing she was coerced into doing it..They wont get the property until she passes according to the paperwork but can she change things now that she is still alive??
once a person does quit claim deed there is no way reverse it, unless the other person gives it back by doign quit claim deed
you also say that the they would nto get the property until her death, that also nto true in a quit claim deed. the moment the qui claim deed is singed and recorded in the county, the other person owns that property
looks like yoru grand mother might have done a will
if it is a will, that can be change any time before her death

Hi ac!
Welcome to forums!
If your grandmother was forced into signing the quitclaim deed, then it can be reversed but she will have to prove that she was forced to sign it. Your grandmother can contact an attorney and take his opinion in this regard.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

"She feels that at the time of signing she was coerced into doing it"
Here she was threatned to sign.So if she consult with an attorney and prove that she was forced to quit claim then it can be reversed. It may take a longer time but surely it can be done.
