i was ased to sign a quit claim deed for a piece of property i owned about 10 yrs ago, they sold it with out getting me to sign for it. now a attorney has found me and is asking if i would sign it for 60.00 so it would be released out of my name for someone else to buy? i am thinking on this hard because i don't understand it can you help? do i need to protect myself with a warrarnty deed instead so i wont have to pay any back taxes? the property is in ohio.
Hi Rosey,

Did the property belong to you? if yes, then you should sign on the deed prior to selling it off to anyone. Who all have sold it instead? Please clarify your situation.

Take Care
