hi I am in my exmotherinlaws will canI put the quit claim in my daughters name?
Can u answer this question soon?
Hi jacqueline!
Welcome to forums!
As far as I know, if you have inherited the property through will, then you can transfer the property to your daughter through a quitclaim deed. You can get sample quitclaim deed forms online but it is always better to draft it from an attorney. Once you fill it up, you need to notarize it and record it at the county recorder's office.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
