CAN ONE OR THE OTHER SPOUSE FILE FOR A QUICKCLAIM DEED WITHOUT THE KNOWLEDGE OR SIGNITURE OF THE OTHER?
Hi mhicks,
If both the spouses are on the property deed, then one spouse can file a quitclaim deed and transfer his/her share of the property to someone else. But the spouse should inform the other person about the property transfer.
