Will quick claim help heir in avoiding probate court
Hi dororthy,
Welcome to forums.
A quitclaim deed cannot help a heir avoid probate. By the way what exactly is your situation? If you can give me some more details, it will be easier to say something more.
However, just for your knowledge, if you wish to avoid probate, the information in the following pages may help you:

In case you need some specific suggestions in relation to your situation, please let me know.
Thanks

Hi Dororthy,
Welcome to forum.
I think you can use a Lady Bird deed or Enhanced Life Estate Deed to avoid probate. If you want to know more about Lady Bird deed check out this article at http://www.mortgagefit.com/know-how/ladybirddeed.html#lifeestate
Feel free to ask if you have any further questions.
Best of luck,
Larry

Assuming the estate is in probate and the heir wants to avoid probate court, and assuming the only probate asset is the real property in question, then yes, a quitclaim deed will take an heir out of probate court.
