Quit Claim Deed

Posted on: 31st Aug, 2007 07:28 am
hi,

i signed a quit claim deed 4 years ago and i believe it was signed while i was being pressured to do so. the quit claim deed was part of a marriage annulment and the papers was prepared by a paralegal. the paralegal dispensed advice saying that i have to sign the quit claim deed in order for her to process the annulment papers. is this legal? can i take this to court for a quit claim reversal?

If you have documents to prove that paralegal had said such a thing to get your signatures on the quit claim deed then you can go to court. The court would then cancel the ownership transfer which resulted because of the deed.

You should contact an attorney to know if would be possible to prove that you were pressurized into signing the deed. Attorney will let you know whether it would be possible to win the lawsuit for reversal of the deed.

Hello,

As you have already signed the quitclaim deed, it is quite difficult to prove that you were forcefully made to sign on it. If you have any documents related to it, take it to the court. I hope the court will listen and understand you.

Hope you a good luck!

Well as far as i understand the paralegal said nothing illegal or untrue so even if you can prove what they have said the point is moot
