Can a grantor sign over a home using a quitclaim deed to someone who is not related to them by any means?
Hi Joseph,
Welcome to the forum.
With a quitclaim deed, a grantor can sign over a house to any person he wishes. And for signing over the deed, it is not necessary to have any relation between the grantor and the grantee.

Quit claim is a general property transfer deed which can be used by any one to transfer his rights to any other person he likes. There is no legal problem in doing that.
