can you tell me if your parents want to add you to the deed - either transfer ownership fully or just add me as another individual who is legally responsible for the property - is a quit claim deed the way to go?
Hi joan,
You can use a quitclaim deed in order to add your son to the property. You can add a clause of joint tenancy in order to declare your son the joint tenant for the property.

My Mother has a revocable trust, a few months ago we added me as a co trustee. She has left the property to me, would it be an advantage for her to transfer the property to me. I am and have been taking care of her for the past 7 years in her home.
