4 people purchased land, owner carried contract, 1 person wants out, can he quit claim to the other 3 people, his 25% interest in the property by signing the quit claim, we noterize it, then get it recorded? with out using a attorney?
You can do it yourself, no problems with that. But every one will tell you that it would be much better if you consult an attorney. You never know if you are going wrong or have taken the right steps.

Miller is right. You can do it yourself but consulting an attorney would be advisable. You can't be sure that everything has been done correctly and all legal points have been implemented. If you want to know more about use of quit claim deed then please go through this page, I think it would help you gain more knowledge about the process - http://www.mortgagefit.com/quitclaim-deed.html
