Is it advisable to re-finance with only 10 years left of a mortgage? Isn't most of my interest paid off by now?

10 years is a long period of time. the mortgage interest rates are quite low. thus, it won't be a bad option to refinance the loan provided you decide to stay in the property for 3-4 years.

Yes, this is a good time to refinance. However, you must get the break-even point before refinancing your mortgage.
