I have a 1973 doublewide moble home. It is a fixed to the ground. On land. I now have ARM. I am trying to find a lender that will give me a 30 yr. fix. I have great credit.
hi drojeski,
welcome to forums.
lenders don't offer refinance loans on a 1973 mobile home as because they are not sure of the life expectancy of any such property built prior to 1976. so, i think you should sell off the home asap and pay down the mortgage with the sale proceeds.
thanks

There are niche lenders that deal specifically with mobile homes. The rate might be slightly higher than conventional loans but you can still get it done.
