Refinancing

Posted on: 13th Jul, 2009 12:02 pm
Hello,
I am in the process of refinancing my loan, unfortunately it is taking a long time. (I'm currently at 75 days and my appraisal isn't processed yet) My question is if it hurts to apply for or get new tradelines (credit cards etc.) while I wait?
You may want to consider switching to a new lender....especially if you have not paid anything yet.

take out your appraisal, most of the time the lender can have you take out since you pay the money for the appraisal fee.Go the lender B. If lender A is serious, they will quick up and will not lose your business. That is too long a time as far as I see. Hope this helps.

yes, 75 days is too long for a refinance. yes, you can switch lenders. no, you should not now go out and seek new, additional credit.
