disabled person refinancing

Posted on: 11th Feb, 2009 06:41 pm
I have a balloon payment due 4-2-09, became disabled in 2006, now have less income, more debt. credit score 645, but high debt ratio, 70%. Credit cards paid off, contacted my new bank, former bank closed and taken over by FDIC/R. New bank won't because of debt ratio. What am I to do? One of the car loans is for my daughter's car, and she makes all of those payments, just in my name. she is unable herself to get loan to buy off car at this time. I need help fast. SS is 1671 per month, also get 580 from unum ltd ins. Any help greatly appreciated. Disabled due to breast cancer and side effects of chemo, peripheral neuropathy, still undergoing surgeries r/t complications. Single person. Wondering if I am soon to be homeless and foreclosed if can't find any refinancing.
help you if you respond to the previous post. i doubt this person is reliable, based on his refusal to comply with the guidelines and the principles of this community. if you're not principled enough to do that, how principled can you be in "helping" a client?

lechat, can you document that your daughter is making the car payments with copies of cancelled checks or copies of bank statements? has she had the loan for at least 12 months (critical)? if you can answer yes to both of these questions, that will be most helpful.

Lechat,

How much do you owe on your home? What do you think the value is? Your credit score isn't terrible, and you can get into a loan up to 95% LTV. If you have any further questions, feel free to email me!
