my other half filed for chapter 13 in 2003. he was behind on mortgage pymts. he bought the house in 1997. he was to pay the trustee a large sum of money every month plus make the current pymts on his house. his truck was also included in the chapter 13.
one day he got a notice of forclosure on the house. couldn't figure out why. was making all his pymt.
his dad checked into it and come to find out the trustee was not making pymts on anything. but would send out paperwork showing he paid it. we even had to give him the tax returns every year.
we have tried to refinance the home and they will not do it. come to find out none of the payments are being reported. his dad paid the back pymts and paid off his truck. have not been late on pymts in 6yrs.
this saved his home and his truck.
the chapter 13 was discharged in 2005 by the courts. but was told we have to get the trustee to sign off on the discharge. we try to get ahold of him and for some reason is never availiable . so be very careful. he is the only trustee for our area. in oregon.
because of him, it has been very hard to get any financing at all. we want to buy another manufactured home to replace our old one on another piece of property and am have trouble trying to find anyone to loan.
is there any help out there?

I think you should contact an attorney and take his suggestions on this regard. May be with the help of the attorney you will be able to sue him and get things sorted out.
