It is possible to refinance a home without any closing costs or fees?

No closing cost refinance loans are hardly available in these days. After the real estate crisis, most lenders have stopped giving such loans.

It is not possible to refinance a house without paying any fees or closing costs.
There is no such thing as a mortgage that has no closing costs.
There are always closing costs.
Lenders have always referred to refinance loans as NO CLOSING COSTS, not because there are no closing costs, but because you may be able to finance the closing costs and not pay them out of your pocket (raise the loan amount to cover and pay for the closing costs)
So, the name is misleading, because there are closing costs.
They still exist, like they always have.
Personally, I have never referred to them myself as NO CLOSING COST refinance, but, most of the mortgage industry has referrred to them that way.
