i purchased my double wide mobile home/land (2,232 sq. ft), in 1997 and married my disabled veteran husband in 2002. how do we refinance from my conventional loan to a va loan using his benefits so that he can be on the mortgage? our credit scores are in the high 700 to low 800. never late on any bills or mortgage payments. we have excellent credit. the goal is to get my husband on the mortgage. please advise.
Hi paytithes,

If your spouse satisfies the required criteria of getting a VA loan, then he will be able to qualify for a VA refinance loan. I would suggest your husband and you to contact the lenders offering VA loan and get your current mortgage refinanced. I hope you've equity in your property. This is one of the major criteria to get a refinance.
