i need to refinance now! seven months before i was placed on permanent disablity i had refinanced my home to a 15 year loan. my monthly payment is $2926. my gross monthly income is now $5200. my home's current value is $375,000 at the low end and about $420,000 for the high end. i have been surviving for 10 months, but it is getting to be near impossible to do it much longer. i welcome any suggestions. have not had any luck with my mortgage carrier. suggestions anyone?
hi phillibuster,
have you talked with your lender? why are they not willing to refinance? what is your credit score?
in case a refinance is not possible, you can for a loan modification. this will help you reduce your monthly payments and make them affordable. you can send a hardship letter to your lender stating the difficulty you are facing in making the payments and talk with the loss mitigation dept. to explore the option of loan modification.

firstly will you please provide me a credit score? then surely it is easy for the person to identify the exact solution for the problem.
