my cousin brought a house with his mother inlaw,(he is a co-signer).his mother in law refinance the house and took his name the deed.if the house goes in to foreclosure,is he in title for any money from the house.
Welcome Tcomas,

Do you mean to say that the mother-in-law asked the cousin to take his name off the deed? if his name is taken off the deed, then he is not entitled to any money from the house because he's neither on the title nor on the mortgage.

tcomas, i'm very confused as to what you're driving at. if the property goes to foreclosure, there will be no money coming back to either your cousin or his mother-in-law. foreclosure will protect only the lending institution that holds the mortgage on the home.

if you're asking something other than what it seems, please elaborate.
