I'm trying to get $50000 on a home that is worth $140000. I owe $14500 with fico 630 through experian. I have had a couple late payments on mortgage that is now current because was out of work for surgeries. Is it possible to find a lender that will do this?

If you have equity in your property, you will be able to get the loan. However, as you have late payments mentioned on your credit report and as your credit score is quite low, you will find it difficult to get a loan.

With a credit score of 630, it will be quite difficult for you to get the loan. You will have to improve your scores and then look out for a conventional loan.
