I have been married one year and want to refi our house. My husband is not on the title or warrenty deed. I cannot qualify since I am self employed and my credit score is not high enough.
The lender is saying that we cannot refi since my husband is not on the warranty deed and we will have to wait one year after he is added.
Is that correct?

Every bank has different guidelines. I would try a different lender. Depending on where you live, you may still be able to get a loan even with your credit score
