when i bought the house, i was married, but separated from my husband. so only my name is on the title and i borrowed my mortgage by myself. i plan to refinance my mortgage, but i heard that my husband has to come to sign when closing. my question is what obligation my husband still has on the house?
If your husband's name is not included in the property deed or on the mortgage docs, then you will not require his signatures when you refinance the loan. He does not have any claims to your property.
