Is it possible to get a refinance of a manufactured home if you have a high DTI but make your debt payments on time?

A friend and I own a manufactured home. We have a private lender because at the time our credit was not the world's best and our FICO scores were not that high either. Mine is approximately 661 I don't know what his is. We are paying $700 a month at 14% and I for one am tired of being taken to the cleaners because somebody wants to make a fast buck! Can anyone help with any information?
