we would like to refinance our manufactured home and borrow an extra $25,000.00 to build a family room off the back. the house is on a regular building lot on a city block and we own the property. our credit score is over 800. we owe $66,000.00 on the house. the only appraisal we have is through the county for our property taxes and it is for $96,000. we can't find a lender who will borrow on a manufactured home. what should we do?
