Process of divorce- can I refinance home in my name only.

i am in the process of a divorce and would like to refinance the first mortgage and home equity loan into one loan. can i have the loan put in my name only if he agrees to it?
Hi goldsmithj,

You will have to transfer the property in your name first and then look for a refinance. As far as I know, you'll have to inform him about the refinancing.
