Hi Kathisellars,
With a credit score of 476 you have very less chances of qualifying for a refinance. However, there are many such mortgage companies which provide you with a debt counseling program, so that you can pay off your debts, and improve your credit score.
Thanks,
Sandra

With a low credit score of 476, it won't be possible for you to get a mortgage refinance. You will have to improve your score first and then look out for a mortgage. You would require a score of 700-720 in order to get a conventional loan. For FHA loans, you would require a score of 620. You can check out the given page in order to improve your score:

Your house is paid off and you are retired. I do not do reverse mortgages. They do not have a credit score requirement.
