Personal loan or refinancing

my husband and i are both disabled and draw a monthly check. we also work part time to supplement our income. we are only allowed to make $1,000. each extra per month. we have a 2007 mobile home in nc and we still owe about $67,000 on it. we used the land .78 of an acre our home is on as collateral for the loan. we have since purchased 2.78 acres in sc because we desperately want to move back to be with our families. our problem is that it will take about $6,500 to get our home moved and set up. our loan is at 9.03% interest rate and our mortgage is $580.00 per month. we need to refinance to get our interest rate lower and hopefully lower our payments so we can afford to move. but we have been told that no one will refinance for a mobile home. do you have any suggestions for us , could we get a personal loan. we have a bankruptcy that will come off our credit march of 2011. i have a lot of medical bills on my credit. but other that that it should be good. thanks for any help you can give. thank you!!!!!
Hi Rita,

You can contact your present lender in order to refinance your mobile home. As far as personal property loan is concerned, you will be able to get it but it will come at a higher interest rate. You can contact the retailers who sell mobile homes and apply for a personal property loan.

Getting a mortgage will depend upon your credit scores as well. With lots of medical bills and bankruptcy on your credit report, it would be bit difficult for you to qualify for a loan.

Thanks
