i want to refinance my primary residence but have been declined because my mailing address is different then my residence. i travel a good deal and all my mail is delivered to my daughters home 15 miles away, she takes care of most of my paperwork. i am a widow and live alone and i have no one to pick up my mail if it is sent to my residence when i am away. what does one do in this instance. i could save $305.00 a month by refinancing and because of this glitch i may be forced to sell my residence because of this new rule. it was not like this five years ago when i purchased it. i thought the government wanted to help us keep our homes, not loose them. can someone advise me how to handle this so i can refinance and keep my home.
That absolutely should not prohibit you from refinancing. What state are you in? Feel free to contact me through my profile and would be happy to see if we can help you.
I am in NJ, can you recommend how to handle it with someone here? Thanks
