Can I refinance and remove a co-borrower? Actually my father co-borrowed with me but later on moved out of the state. At present, I have a strong income, credit and meet all other criteria. Will I be able to refinance? Do I need to inform my father?

Yes, you can refinance and remove a co-borrower from the loan as you meet all the required criteria of the lender. It will be better if you could inform your father before you refinance the loan.

yes you can as long as you qualify. Your father will have to agree and will need to complete a quit claim deed at or before closing the new loan to remove his interest in the property.
