Hi,
Husband's attorney stated that he will not be able to refi w/o a quitclaim due to divorce. I believe that when he refi's in his name, the deed will automatically transfer to his name, hence forth removing me from the deed and mortgage. Is this true?
Thank you,
Sam

Hi sanderson!
Welcome to forums!
The deed will not get automatically transferred in your husband's name. While he refinances the loan, you will have to transfer the deed in his name at the closing.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
