My sons father name is on my home and he wants me to let it go back so I am looking for help to get it refinanced and his name taken off.
Hi nfayethomas,
You can contact your lender and ask for a refinance. However, you should note that, in order to get a refinance, your property should have equity and you should have good income and credit score.
You can also speak to other lenders for a refinance. If you want, you can speak to the lenders of this community and seek a no obligation free consultation from them. This will help you in getting an idea about the type of rates you can expect to get.
Thanks

nfayethomas,
Perhaps a gift of equity would work in your situation.

A great site to check out if you are refinancing your home is cleanoutbadrates.com. It is a easy site that helped me get the best loan offers. They have mortgage calculators and everything. You just fill out a request and they contact you- it's free. Pretty nice site.
